    On the third floor above our favorite music venue, Chicago Street Pub, our show is recorded at Third City Sound in Downtown Joliet. David Francis and I, Tom Maslowski, take a live approach to our show. It's done in one take. The artists record a song, give an interview, and play one more song. We've been having a great time!    Chicago Street Pub became the home base for a large number of musicians. Through this, the discovery of businesses and artists of all kinds. A great community has begun to really take hold. This podcast would like to shed some light on these great people in Joliet as well as the friends we've made elsewhere. Let's make something together that can't be torn down.     In episode seven, we get to hear from Bret Figura and Phil Lazzari. They've been founders of so much of what's happened to form this local music scene. Hear some of the story from their start, and how their bands merged with other Joliet bands early on to give us dozens of fabulous throughout the years.
