This week, Aleen, Jordana &amp; Sami are in the hot seat (no literally, they’re in person at the studio and it’s warm AF in there). They start off with some *high*ly interesting updates—yes, we’re talking about edibles. For one of our hosts, edibles are like skiing—she forgets that she doesn’t like it so she keeps trying, but it’s always a miss. The brilliant solution? Have a drink instead! Speaking of…um…weed, Snoop Dogg &amp; all of the other nostalgic stars killed that half time show (Aleen was jumping on the couch clapping her hands). Sami wonders, though, if the SuperBowl would consider changing it up and throw in a live @ Betches podcast recording, perhaps? Then onto Kanye’s chaotic—but also really very sad—antics. Kanye’s On One (Again), Inventing Anna Is Cray, & Josh Safdie’s Muse

Desde el último tercio del 2019, «Uncut Gems» llamó poderosamente la atención luego de sus exhibiciones en los festivales de Telluride y Toronto, de los más importantes de Norteamérica, alabando como nunca la actuación de Adam Sandler, actor mucho más ubicado en la comedia simplona. Ya en este 2020 el propio Sandler amenazó con retirarse del cine si no lograba ser nominado al Óscar por su actuación, la que consideró la mejor de su carrera... lo que no es decir demasiado. No la consiguió, y eso dividió a la crítica internacional y también a los Cinéfagos. En este episodio, Marco, Rodrigo y José Luis analizan «Uncut Gems / Diamantes en bruto», y cada uno de ellos expone las virtudes y defectos que ve en esta obra, sin coincidir en el dictamen: uno la pone quizás entre lo mejor del año... otro no la acabó de ver porque se fastidió y otro sí la terminó, pero la detestó.
