Freyja began her career in Australia as part of the Fruit Fly Circus and soon after school became a member of the Australian company Circa where she honed her skills not only as a strong and confident performer, but as a physically and emotionally supportive ensemble member, as of the release of this episode she is performing in the Seven Finger’s show Passengers. She holds a BFA from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts with a concentration on post-modern physical theater (how’s that for a mouthful?). She founded The Artist Athlete in 2018 as a means to produce educational materials for aerial artists and a podcast in which she interviews experts in the circus industry about their careers.
