There is the one taken to spy, sell, market everything, and somehow control citizens — depending on where you live and who you are — and there is the “good” data, the one that can help you to stay healthy, get a job, get an education, and overall get you in the societal loop that we all need nowadays to thrive. So, divide, in this case, means that if you are on the wrong side of it, things are getting worst at the same rate that technology gets better.
