Annie Everett is the Director of Celebrate Recovery Program at South Tampa Fellowship. CR is a nationwide movement serving as a safe place for people to find freedom from life’s hurts. First hosted at houses of worship, CR is now serving men, women and even children in a variety of settings. Annie has been the Celebrate Recovery Director at South Tampa Fellowship in Hillsborough County for 1.5 years. Prior to that, she was the director for the children’s CR program, teaching kids the same principles and steps at an age appropriate level. Mental health awareness is near and dear to her heart, having loved ones diagnosed with anxiety and depression. CR has been a lifeline to people trying to navigate the COVID 19 pandemic without succumbing to past addictions and mental health issues. Pre-COVID 19, Annie says the Thursday evening CR meetings averaged 100  participants per week. Post-COVID 19, the program was moved online via Zoom and served approximately 60 people per week. Annie’s professional background includes secondary education with a concentration in Communication, and has been a freelance writer for more than a decade. CR at South Tampa Fellowship meets every Thursday night starting at 6:30PM at the Ballast Point Campus. Online, CRCR zoom small groups begin at 8pm on Thursdays.
