Catherine Quinn, DC, BSc, MChiro, FRCC (sport)Catherine Quinn has been President of the BCA since October 2017, leading the Association through a range of opportunities and challenges. Catherine has been in private practice since graduating from the AECC in 2012 after completing a BSc in Sports Science. She is the Queens Park Rangers FC chiropractor and is in private practice at Cleve Chiropractic, Bristol.Catherine has delivered keynote lectures on the role of chiropractic within multidisciplinary healthcare teams to both the UK Sports Medicine community at the Football Medical and Performance Association, and Internationally at FICS. She has spoken widely about the need to professionalise chiropractic ensuring that good governance gives us a solid foundation to do so, the need to support and nurture our future leaders and the value of integrative and collaborative healthcare.Catherine was a member of the medical team at the London 2012 Olympic Games, has worked within club level and international Rugby League and Union and currently supports Norwegian and Dutch Winter Olympic Skeleton athletes.. Catherine is currently a trustee at St Mary’s University and has sat on various committees and steering groups within the profession involved with healthcare provision and development, engagement and the development of the LSBU chiropractic programme. Thanks for taking the time Catherine and Tim, we start by covering how to build yourself a busy chiropractic clinic starting from a locker room at the local football club. Tim and Catherine now work together at Cleve Chiro near Bristol, but are both sports chiro mad, Catherine with QPR football club and Tim Bristol Rovers including some olympic international sport work too. Then we change pace and move to how they got involved in the BCA (British Chiropractic Association) and how they managed to navigate the global pandemic.
