B. Jamal Broadnax was born in Reidsville, North Carolina. He has 4 daughters, Jamia Alexandria, Destini Taylor, Skylar Janell Broadnax, and Kristian Rice.  Jamal is a former fundamentalist Chrisitian and pastored his own church from 1999 to 2019. In late 2019 Jamal walked away from church, Christianity and organized religion altogether. It was then that he began a new spiritual journey that would lead him into an awakened, conscious, and always evolving &amp; expanding spiritual journey.  He is the founder and facilitator of The Consciousness Center in Greensboro, NC, a weekly gathering that focuses on personal empowerment, self discovery, and celebration of the human experience.  Jamal is a highly experienced public speaker, certified master hypnotherapist, certified master NLP practitioner, and certified personal success and life coach. With his proven and effective modalities, Jamal helps people experience positive change in any area of their life. He specializes in helping people release negative emotions, overcome bad habits, and heal past trauma.
