Anna Ayers of Rahua - Beauty Is Power

Fabian used to be a hairdresser. He met Anna 17 years ago in his New York City salon and left for 6 weeks in the Amazon right after their first date. He had to show her pictures of his plane stuck in the mud to convince her that he wasn’t making up crazy excuses. 12 years of marriage later, Anna and Fabian have come a long way. Together they started an NGO called Ecoagents whose mission is to preserve the Amazon Rainforest by empowering the local indigenous communities. Everything changed the day they discovered the Rahua oil and the magical rituals to preserve and cultivate it – they realized that they would have a bigger impact by creating a business around it. They launched Rahua in 2008, a natural hair care line made with love and intention that does wonders to your hair while helping to preserve the Amazon.
