William Thiele, PhD is founding director of the School for Contemplative Living, and author of Monks in the World: Seeking God in a Frantic Culture. He also pastors Parker United Methodist Church in New Orleans, has spent 25 years as a psychotherapist, and twelve years as a spiritual director.
