He and his wife also have several rental properties, including the Manti Cottage on Airbnb. The Manti Cottage, built in 1851, is one of Utahs oldest surviving houses. Nate has a deep love for church history, and collects church memorabilia. His book collection is over 75,000 books, most of which are simply stored away on pallets in a couple shipping containers . He and his wife, Rebecca, have held food storage as an important aspect of their lives since we were married, storing away wheat under their bed while living in an upstairs attic apartment. Since then, their efforts have continued to expand. They have eight children and a very busy modern lifestyle. Their 1 acre homestead features over 50 fruit trees, a large geothermal off-grid Greenhouse (where they are growing bananas and citrus), two milk cows, meat rabbits, lambs, chickens, and, of course, the dog and cat.
