"So there's a tremendous amount of friction that exists there because I think we're still at the point where we're. We're using traditional insurance products that have been invented in the 1970s and trying to add this digital layer on top of it. So where InsureTech has struggled, I would say, is unless there is a significant amount of product innovation. It's very hard to really optimize the product. The business, currently operating across Asian markets and expanding in to Europe, offers full stack technology to insurers looking to launch digital insurance products, short-cutting the route to market from over a year to less than 3 months.George gives his thoughts on the future of the insurance &amp; insurtech sectors and the value high-performing insurance talent can bring to a tech business. “You have to be comfortable with ambiguity and solving problems”, says George as he encourages those looking for a career change to get up to speed with what’s happening in the marketplace and to seek out an intermediate step to facilitate the transition.“Most of the team are running at 110mph.
