Show Notes I connect with Lioda Conrad in Cape Town, South Africa.  She is a professional painter who loves portraiture of both humans and animals.  She states that she is a multi-faceted artist.  She has wonderful dreams of promoting art. Key Points  Lioda believes Artists are the "guardians of society." She creates Liodisms, for instance "Art is Truth." We learn about her process of "Fumage." Lioda coined the word "Extirpation" to describe the "process of part removal or breaking down of a just completed piece becomes the more important process than the one used to create it." One idea for promoting art and artists is a project she calls "Paper Cafe Movement" and which she implemented on September 24, 2016.  When she addressed her "why" for being a guest on the show Lioda stated... "it is important that we try and make art important and hold on to the value it represents in society.
