Phillip Naples had been working in Corporate Broking in the US for many years. Andrew Egenes was one of his clients.  When Phillip told Andrew his idea for a new kind of insurance distribution, the pair set to work to create Layr.  That was in 2016. Since then, the company has gone from strength to strength.
