My guest today is a tango musician and composer. He was born and raised in Moscow, and started playing piano at the age of 7. He then relocated to San Francisco, and picked up the accordion. During that time, he studied with Peter DiBono, San Francisco’s most celebrated accordionist. After becoming interested in Tango, today’s guest then took to playing the bandoneon, and went on to study with great musicians such as Ville Hitula and Hector Del Curto. Nowadays, he keeps busy as the leader of the tango group Tangonero.
