She is the Associate Director, Project on Reinventing America's Schools at Progressive Policy Institute. Its mission is to create radically pragmatic ideas for moving America beyond ideological and partisan deadlock.   Tressa has written extensively about innovative autonomous schools and education policy and politics, school reform, and charter school policy.
