Mallory was working in advertising in New York and was nearly burnt out when she took a trip to Morocco that was going to change her life. The sense of place she felt landing there, and the instant connection to these women led Mallory to quit a high paying job and start Salam Hello - a textile company that works directly with the local women artisans and pays them a fair price for their craft.
