Brian Muchiri Waihenya from Kenya gives his heart wrenching story from the time he survived a grisly road accident to being confined to a wheelchair after his spinal cord was injured. He now has a a foundation - Strong Spine, that donates wheelchairs and diapers to persons living with disabilities who are languishing in abject poverty in Kenya. Brian has also come out strong to talk about how vital diapers are to the disabled. He is advocating for affordable diapers and also by keeping the conversation going, he wants to eradicate stigma associated with the use of diapers for the disabled. Its a great story.
