Today I am interviewing Julie to talk about the things we all hate to talk about. Julie and I discuss trauma and grief, I am honestly so proud of Julie and beyond grateful that we connected and that she is so willing to share her story. This is such a tough topic for people to listen to and for people to talk about, I feel like I was at a loss of words so many times throughout this episode but luckily Julie is a powerhouse and just an amazing human. More about Julie:Julie is happily married and a mum to two teenagers that definitely know how to keep her on her toes!Conforming to ‘normal’ is not something she believes in, chasing desires with passion is. After suffering grief from the loss of both parents at a young age, she understands that life is precious and too short to waste on not being happy in the present.It’s allowed her to walk away from university knowing it wasn’t right for her, have kids when her friends weren’t and allowed her to quit a well-paid job of 20 years in business and finance just before hitting 40.Now Julie uses her business brain and her fearless belief to help other women break free of what they think is expected of them. She helps them to let go of fear, follow their dreams and build businesses that feel good to them and gives them the freedom and income they crave.Family, friends and fitness are all really important to Julie.
