Before he moved to Cincinnati in 1998, he workedas a lecturer at the Research Institute of Mathematical Sciences of KyotoUniversity in Japan for three years. His early works are in quantum groupsand in the last few years, his main interest is in the area of themultivariable public key cryptosystems.
