Working out how to reach and disciple the millennial generation is perhaps one of the most pressing challenges facing us today. Less than 7% of young adults go to church and 65% of them have never heard the gospel. Whereas we used to be seen as a missionary sending country Britain is now seen as a key mission field by other countries. This session will look at why young adults are struggling to find, keep and share their faith before opening a discussion on intentional discipleship to help them step into their calling as Disciples to their own generation. Jess Regnart is ‘Director of Every Generation’ for Freedom in Christ Ministries. She co-wrote and co-presented ‘Disciple’ their discipleship course for 18-30’s. She is a sought-after speaker who travels extensively equipping church leaders to engage with the modern challenges of discipleship. She has a real passion to see every Christian get free from the shackles that hold them back so they can step into their personal mandate from God as Disciples that impact the communities around them.
