Tonight we celebrate one of our own with an incredible first-novel rollout! Velvet Heaven is the first in a triology of novels written by Soroya Biela, our guest tonight. Sorora is 40, born and raised in Warren, Michigan. She graduated from Wayne State University in 2012 with a BA in English.Tonight’s show will try to sidestep politics a bit and instead concentrate on the joy of writing, especially sexy-vampire-novel-writing.From Soroya’s blog: “My classes at Wayne State were heavily concentrated in creative writing, including several graduate level courses which I completed as an undergrad. I have participated in dozens of fiction writing workshops, and have even completed a play, entitled Apple Pie, which is set in the 1950s and deals with the intriguing subject of the secret lives of lesbian housewives.”

For the fun, I’ve asked Soroya Biela to discuss vampires with us, and for the real-life story of quite a different paranormal nature, Chris Brown and his son Colton will be here. Bill is traveling and probably won’t be able to join us, but you never know what will happen on a Halloween show!
