The industry didn’t self-regulate, so governments all around the world have been forced to step in to protect us from the “evil” corporations looking to use and abuse our personal information for their financial gain.Will the laws help and how long will it take companies to do the right thing? Or will they simply do what they need to do to meet the letter of the law?
