In this episode, we talked with Randy Rebman about LMSes from the higher ed side of things - specifically Blackboard and Canvas LMS. It was just a couple of years ago that Canvas LMS stormed onto the scene and toppled Blackboard's ownership of the Higher Ed LMS space and we talked about why, the differences between the two types of systems, and what migrating from Blackboard to Canvas is like.  Ultimately, I think this conversation left me with more questions than answers. I'm curious why Higher Ed's LMS offerings seem to be so lacking in many ways. The differences between users is an obvious factor, but you'd think that there'd be more common features. Is Mentorship different in higher ed than it is in corporate settings? How about in military or government settings? Non-profits?  So in this episode, we have Randy Rebman and Toddi Norum discussing mentoring and coaching. Both of them have backgrounds where they've experienced mentoring in the military or government settings - and now both have moved on to either higher ed or corporate environments, and can discuss the differences.
