Kara McKee is a singer/songwriter who had an amazing adventure on "The Voice" when she was chosen by John Legend to be on Team Legend.  Her experience was something and we got an insight into the scene behind "The Voice" and how the whole thing works.  Kara is the daughter of the governor of Rhode Island, Dan McKee, and a brilliant financial talent also.  She opened for us when we recently performed in Westerly, Rhode Island and sang her beautiful songs and had a great performance.  Please enjoy getting to know Kara McKee.

Kara’s professional background was in corporate America, but her heart has always been in music.  After 15 years of pursuing a business career, Kara left her big corporate job to prioritize the things that make her happiest--MUSIC!  Kara comes from a family of achievers. Her father, Governor Daniel McKee, is the current Governor of Rhode Island, and her 94-year-old grandmother is a wonderful piano player.
