SoundOff Ep 158 - Author Alison Woods

Allison has been intermittent fasting since May 2019.  As of July 2021, she has released over 135 pounds and logged over 100 non-scale victories (NSV’s)!     Allison had been morbidly obese for most of her adult life.    At a top weight of 369 pounds, she had a gastric bypass in 2011.  She initially lost weight, but quickly regained more than half of those pounds back.  After once again trying numerous diets and weight-loss plans, she discovered intermittent fasting and never looked back!     Allison wants to help everyone discover the freedom that comes with intermittent fasting to live a vibrant and healthy life!  With her personal experience, education and professional credentials, Allison wants to be your intermittent fasting coach.  Allison holds a Masters Degree in Public Health (MPH), specializing in Health Education, and a Doctorate of Psychology (PsyD) in Organization Development.  She has many years of experience in health education and training, individual and executive coaching, facilitating groups, and career counseling.    You can connect with Allison at: https://yourlifecoach.ck.page Please note: Allison is an organizational psychologist, not a medical doctor or therapist.   Allison lives in Sacramento, California, in the United States with her wife, their very active 6 year old son, and 2 dogs.    With her new-found energy from intermittent fasting, Allison enjoys bike riding, golfing, swimming, and lifting weights.  She is an organization development consultant as well as an intermittent fasting coach.  She is also an avid crafter and hobby baker.
