Zinnia is a singer song writer and we feature her songs in the interview.  Zinnia's mother is Phillipino and her father is Iranian.  They came to Canada as religious refugees and had to start their life over.  Zinnia was very much aware of this as she grew up and the experience is reflected in her music.
