If you've ever lost someone close to you, then this episode is one you don't want to miss!  Samuel Nazer Walsh talks with me about losing his best friend - who also happens to be his father. Overwhelmed with grief at the sudden loss of his father at the young age of 24, he was also saddled with the responsibility of settling a rather large estate.  Being so young, he wasn't sure what to do in terms of dealing with his grief and settling an estate. This experience eventually lead to a battle with mild depression. When he lost his father, he felt that a part of him died with him. As the years passed, he had to learn how to let go emotionally by doing some deep work on himself.Sam talks about how he learned, in the midst of deep grief, to embrace gratitude and focus on what greatness he has in his life.  He learned to be more thankful for the things that he has, not what he doesn't have or the things he lost.  He talks about discovering ways to do the inner work for himself so he could be at peace with losing someone so special in his life.
