She is an attorney with over 20 years of experience in social justice work with a focus on improving our community for young people. Wende is a biological parent of three, adoptive parent of one, and has been a foster parent twice. She serves as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteer and is about to embark on her third case. She is a graduate of the University of Arizona (BA/BS), Arizona State University (Masters of Public Administration) and USC (Juris Doctorate).
