The Triffids special with Robert McComb with David Eastaugh   The Triffids were an Australian alternative rock and pop band, formed in Perth in Western Australia in May 1978 with David McComb as singer-songwriter, guitarist, bass guitarist and keyboardist.  They achieved some success in Australia, but greater success in the UK and in Scandinavia in the 1980s before disbanding in 1989

The Triffids' frontman David McComb is regarded as one of Western Australia's finest and most significant songwriters. After his untimely death in 1999, a series of unreleased demo recordings were uncovered. This is the story of how these songs were brought to life by his dear friends as part of the brand new album and live show 'Truckload of Sky: The Lost Songs of David McComb'.
