Bob Kolt is an instructor in the Departmentof Advertising and Public Relations in the College of Communication Arts andSciences.  In additionto teaching at MSU since 1993, Bob is the president and CEO of KoltCommunications, Inc., which has been recognized over the years with numerousawards for outstanding work, and today the firm provides counsel to aprestigious list of clients. Bob has been active as a media strategist forseveral statewide ballot issues, and worked as a media consultant and keypolitical advisor to former Governor James J. Blanchard and former Secretary ofState Richard H. Austin.  Prior tofounding Kolt Communications, Bob did communications work for the MichiganDepartment of Transportation and Michigan Department of Treasury. He alsoworked for a number of years as a news anchor and correspondent for WZZM-TV 13ABC in Grand Rapids, as well as WWTV/WWUP-TV 9/10 CBS in northern Michigan.    Kolt earnedhis master’s degree from Michigan State University.
