Tony Briseno is an early hybrid skateboarder who skated street, ditches, gaps, ramps, pools, and everything else during the early 90's, when it was pretty much only cool to be a street skater. He was part of my early Acme Am team that was full of hybrid skaters, so he fit in perfectly to my desire to be a skateboard company, not a trend company.Tony has continued to skate to this day and at 43 you can still find him out skating and ripping. He is one of the nicest people ever, and I was stoked to sit down and catch up on life, and talk about our memories and the good times we shared.Tony has recently launched Common Youth, a new apparel company utilizing the skills he's learned in the last couple decades of working in clothing production...
