Global Warriors president Garnet Ace, lightweight title challenger Alex Ricci and featherweight Jo Petahtegoose joined Rear-Naked Choke Radio host Jason Kelly (@JayKellyMMA) and guest co-host Alex Gasson (@PeckingClaw) to discuss Global Warriors 3 and why the UFC president should be in attendance.    Global Warriors 3 takes place May 28 at the Brantford Civic Centre in Brantford, Ontario, Canada, and the event features a plethora of Ontario mixed martial artists.    Ace (@GarnetAce), being the president of Ontario's most active professional MMA promotion, is trying to revive the sport in the province. He spoke about his efforts to get UFC president Dana White to bring Nick The Tooth and Matt Serra to Global Warriors 3 for an episode of Dana White Lookin' for a Fight, and also what activities the trio could partake in besides the event. Ace explained how the support from the most powerful man in MMA would help the Ontario MMA scene and why GW3 is the perfect event for them to witness.    Ricci (@AlexRicciMMA) meets Kyle Prepolec at Global Warriors 3. Ricci defeated Prepolec at Global Warriors 2 via unanimous decision in May 2015, but this time there is a vacant lightweight title on the line. Ricci talked about his motivation ahead of this fight and explained why he's been out of competition for nearly a year before competing in April. The M1 Thai Boxing owner also spoke about his readiness for the UFC.    Petahtegoose (@JoGooseMMA) has been competing in combat sports and martial arts for 14 years. He began his MMA career in 2009, but has not competed since 2012. After addressing some personal issues, Petahtegoose is fully dedicated to conquering his UFC goal. Josh Hill, Denis Puric and Garnet Ace take us on a trip through Thailand jails, WSOF title fights and one-and-only heart surgery survival stories on this episode of Rear-Naked Choke Radio.    Hill, former WSOF bantamweight No. 1 contender, won the main event at Global Warriors 2 against Josh Rettinghouse via third-round rear-naked choke. And, of course, we appreciate that submission on this show. Hill talked us through his first bout at home since 2012, and what he is hopeful for in the future, as well as his future plans that may take place south of the border.    Puric, well, he enlightened us on what itÃ¢??s like to fight in a Thailand jail. Need we say anymore?    Then thereÃ¢??s Ace. Ace mustÃ¢??ve had an ace up his sleeve as he is the only person in N. America to survive sextuple heart surgery. His heart was rebuilt in May 2014, yet he lived through it and then brought MMA back to Ontario just 12 months later. His perseverance and willingness to live breathed life into Ontario MMA and may be the first step in bringing one of the three major organizations in the world to the province that houses CanadaÃ¢??s capital for a special cross-promotion event.
