Charles Loos, "The Ocean Coach", releases his new online course called "Navigate Like A Boss".  Over the years,  Charles has found one of his most popular topics while coaching new captains is Navigation.   This is what prompted him to release "Navigate Like A Boss" as an online course where students can study and review the material based on their timeline.  Navigation is a key part of the captains responsibility and understanding where you are at and where you are going is a key component.   Your passengers expect you to know how to get where you are going and how to return safely no mater the weather or ocean conditions.   This course will give you the knowledge and tips and tricks of not only understanding proper navigation techniques but how to be confident with your new skills. Cuando pensamos en jazz, lo primero que se nos viene a la mente es todo lo que llega de su país de origen, Estados Unidos. El Faro del Jazz también atendemos con gusto siempre que podemos al jazz de nuestro pais; pero no esta mal acercarse, de vez en cuando, a la producción de otros paises europeos con mucha mas tradición jazzistica que el nuestro.En los años 80 TVE emitió en su programa Jazz entre amigos un especial dedicado a un estupendo pianista y compositor belga llamado Charles Loos, alguien que ya en aquel momento era una figura destacada en el jazz y el rock progresivo de su pais y que hoy en día sigue en activo.En El faro del jazz hemos decidido rescatar su figura, dedicando un especial a algunos de sus discos de esa década realmente interesantes: dos de ellos grabados con su trio -Secret Laughs (1983) y En public, au travers (1987)-, y otro en quinteto, compartiendo liderazgo con la flautista norteamericana Ali Ryerson y grabado en 1989.Para complementar, también sonaran algunos temas de la banda de jazz-rock progresivo Cos, a la que Loos perteneció en su juventud.Un programa diferente y que espero os resulte interesante.
