Welcome to Season 2, Episode 13! Regardless of who you are or how elite you are as an athlete. We all have one thing in common…Most of us most likely use some sort of tool during our workout or post workout. Our episode this week is all about fitness and recovery devices that are worth the investment. Intra workout tools would be what you would use during your workout regimen. This includes something like a brace, sleeve, belt, band, gloves, monitors, straps, shoes, and etc. Recovery tools would be used post workout; generally used to help repair the damage, eliminate inflammation, delayed onset muscle soreness, that is a result of the stress we put out muscles and body through during our workout. This could include lacrosse balls, foam rollers, therma guns, the hot tub, sauna, cryotherapy chamber, and etc.Our guest this week Lifetime Fitness Lenexa’s Coach Adam Venegas and FIT MJC’s Doctor Aaron Holman not only have experience using fitness and recovery tools on the college football field or wrestling mat and also in their professional lives with clients and patients as part of their everyday hustle. Instead of rambling on endlessly, I will let our guests this week tell you all about it.
