Racism is alive and well, (Sorry to break it to you but always has been)It's been a tough month, I have had to face difficult conversations and trauma, and my white friends have found themselves holding eachcother accountable for not speaking out. The death of George Floyd was a global shock, and now white privilege, and being an Ally is at the tip of people's tongues. This week I'm joined by one of my oldest friends, Katy, we have had issues surrounding myself and racism, and she talks to me about what it's like waking up to racism in real time, why it is so hard for white people to talk about race? and the realisation that colourblind-ness and the white fear of saying the wrong thing s not going to fix racism.
