Today's podcast is the first one where a sex worker speaks in-depth on a selected topic. The person with whom I had a pleasure to talk with is Jason Domino. Jason is the sexual health and wellbeing lead for the UK Adult Professionals (UKAP) and a practising sex worker. Jason speaks from his own experience and he is very vested in and passionate about sexual health, specifically topics like HIV and PrEP. I have learned a lot from talking to him and he provided me with more information than I have gotten from anyone in the past few years on this topic. Jason Domino is a sexual health activist, and a sex worker that meets clients and performs in the porn industry. He has spoken at the United Nations representing HIV activism coming from adult performers, challenging relationships and sex education to do more. In this episode of The Pleasure Podcast we welcome the talented multi-hyphenate Jason Domino: activist, porn performer, sex worker, and head of the sexual health think-tank: The Domino Foundation. Jason was raised as a committed Christian and tried to change his sexuality as a teen using aversion therapy and conversion camps. He shares with us how he started in sex work and porn and how a health scare following a porn shoot opened his eyes to the need for sex education, particularly around HIV prevention.
