Dr. Jamie Bovay is the founder of Kinetik Chain Denver Physical Therapy, and author of Adding Insight to Injury. He’s the guest on Ep. 263 of the Jon of All Trades Podcast, debuting August 25, 2020.Dr. Jamie Bovay is a Denver-based physical therapist who helps people recover from injury so they can stay active in their favorite sport/hobby, exercising, and fully enjoying life.  He founded KinetikChain Denver when he wanted to create a different way to provide patient care and rehabilitation.  Frustrated with the models of clinics seeing 3 or more patients an hour and PT techs or aides, who have no medical experience, doing much of the care he knew there was a better way.   We talk about that better way on this week’s show. We also discuss how Jamie didn’t start as a physical therapist, the experience of traveling around the world with his wife, why he was dissatisfied with some of the traditional models of physical therapy, and a ton more.
