Welcome to the first episode of The Aspiring Guitarist Podcast in 2014!  I am really glad that I can share with you this interview with a fantastic fingerstyle guitar player Daryl Kellie. It is always a great joy for me to talk with musicians whose playing fascinates me. Daryl is definitely one of them. His unique approach to guitar playing  combines many different elements: percussive sounds, harmonics, tapping, classical guitar techniques etc. What I really like about his playing is the ability to incorporate lots of technically difficult stuff into a song without loosing the overall musicality. I think the best example of this is his arrangement of Queen’s Bohemian rhapsody. Check it out, it’s amazing! Daryl’s debut album Wintersong comes out on February 10th , so if you like this kind of music, definitely go check it out!
