In this episode of Edits, Ashley speaks with photographer James Whitlow Delano on documenting deforestation in Southeast Asia and the Amazon.James has been photographing the ongoing deforestation of some of the world's largest tropical rainforests and the effect on indigenous peoples that inhabit the lands since 1994.Ashley discusses James' project "Rainforest Sentinels", where he attempted a new form of creative communication for an issue affecting so many equatorial rainforests. James also discusses his creative process behind the work and reasons why this particular topic has been close to him for decades.--James Whitlow Delano is a Japan-based documentary storyteller.
