Maria discusses her journey into this highly popular form of treatment, how it works, and her goals, beliefs, and vision for the future. Cryotherapy works when cold air causes blood to rush to the surface of the body, bringing the oxygen with it, which starts the body’s recovery process. When you are subjected to these temperatures, it causes the blood vessels to close up. The brain then sends a message to the blood, which rushes to protect your internal organs.       The diet is more important than exercise, unless you’re an athlete. Sleep is also highly vital, and we should all be getting 7 - 8 hours of sleep per night.
