Carly has always been a breast cancer advocate, having lost her mum and grandmother to the disease. Then in her mid thirties, she received her own diagnosis, when she found a lump under her arm whilst accompanying her sister to chemotherapy. Since then, she has shared her breast cancer journey on social media from diagnosis, throughout her treatment and into her remission and she continues to share hope and positivity today.Following her cancer diagnosis, like is similar to a lot of us, her perspective of life changed and she has recently re-trained to be a wellness coach. As well as being a keen writer, she is a mum of 2 small children and runs a business, Keep ‘em Quiet with her husband.This conversation is full of Carly's wisdom, positivity and joyous outlook on life. We discussed so many things including how Carly dealt with the fear associated with being diagnosed with the same cancer which tragically killed her mum, the benefits of practising gratitude, her shift in perspective following her cancer diagnosis, her progress on learning to love herself and much more. “Chemo was really hard. But there were really good days too – they weren't the best feeling healthy days – but there was something that happened on those days. You suddenly have the shift in perspective of appreciating the smallest things, because when you have something that's knocking you, sideways, weekly – I was having chemo every week for 12 weeks – when you have a good moment, the world is more colorful, and everything becomes more incredible. And I got to push my kids on a swing and I was out of bed! Turning Pain into Purpose: Carly Moosah's Breast Cancer Journey

This week I speak to entrepreneur Carly Moosah. We remember her mother Sharon and Carlys magical childhood growing up in a happy home full of laughter, parties, family memories and love.  Carly at the time of this interview was navigating her own breast cancer treatment and journey. We talk about her mothers battle breast cancer and how Carly has managed the battle against the disease that took her Mummo too soon.
