Boxercise started in 1992 the company he started, growing in popularity throughout the 1990s and still today. The concept of Boxercise became popular worldwide as a fitness class and also with personal trainers using padwork to train their clients and fitness boot camp instructors using the techniques (including me)! Andy opens up about how he got into boxing and martial arts as a result of him not being in a safe place, and he wanted to be able to defend himself adequately. We chat about quality of life, and Andy shares his advice around how Boxercise can be great for combatting depression.

Andy Wake started Boxercise in 1992 which now has over 2 million participants worldwide.  A man who over 20 years has taught over 12,000 instructors and been responsible for the training of 16,000 individuals. This led to an agreement between Boxercise and MAE to create the only boxing course in the world that would bear the great name Muhammad Ali.
