I feel absolutely privileged to have Dr. Rick Lines as my guest for Episode 14. Dr. Rick Lines is an Associate Professor of Criminology and Human Rights at the University of Swansea. A key figure in the emerging field of human rights and drug policy and expert on subjects including international drug control law, prisoners' rights, HIV and human rights, capital punishment and harm reduction. He is also the author of the book 'Drug Control and Human Rights in International Law' as well as Chairman of 'The International Centre on Human Rights and Drug Policy'.  We talk about the history of drug control, how it is in violation of human rights laws, why it's all gotten to this stage and if there's anything that can be done about it.
