Dominique shares her humbling journey as a single mom and the many adversities she has faced along the way. At 16 years old Dominique was told she would never be able to have children due to a medical condition. To her surprise, in the summer of 2018, her world as she knew it changed drastically when she learned the news that she was, in fact, pregnant. She made the hard decision to move back home and begin to rebuild her life for her and her son. Dominique works tirelessly to be the best mom she can possibly be to her beautiful son while simultaneously breaking generational trauma for her, her linage, and even supports others to do the same. Dominique’s story is inspiring, heartfelt, and one of a true warrior mother rising from the ashes of who she was to be reborn into who she was always meant to be. Dominique is a mental health clinician and doula with a extensive background in children and families. She is a single mom to an adventurous 3 year old boy and loves nature, cooking, moving her body, and chocolate. It happened three-ish years ago and was the catalyst in my own healing from childhood. I highly HIGHLY recommend finding an equine therapist close to you and giving it a try EVEN IF you're afraid of horse.
