Nicole Spence is a wife, a mother, an educational assistant,  and an author of the captivating memoir: “Somewhere North of Where I Was.” This memoir portrays a child’s loss of innocence through poverty, neglect, and abuse; and it depicts the journey of Nicole transcending the trauma she had endured.
