Care to Change Counseling - Practical Solutions for Positive Change

According to the National Alliance on Mental Health, 1in 5 Americans struggles with a mental health issue. Further, many government officials that we have met with in 2022 have pointed to mental health as a key and complex problem that they are spending time and resources to address. Churches and other ministries are also seeing a rise in these problems, and they are often the first place that people look for help with loneliness, anxiety, grief, addiction, and depression. So, how can we  best serve our communities in the midst of this crisis?  In this interview, I discussed the mental health crisis and the church’s response with April Bordeau and Jean Crane from Care to Change, a professional counseling community of licensed, experienced, highly trained counselors and therapists whose approach to helping people has been built upon a solid foundation of Biblical truth. April Bordeau founded Care to Change, is licensed as a clinical social worker, and has spent more than twenty years helping families overcome the challenges in their lives.
