#1 Where It All Began with Roger Gabriel

Roger Gabriel has taught thousands of people how to meditate and also to become meditation teachers. His journey started in the 70’s with Transcendental Meditation after meeting and studying with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. Through his involvement with the TM Organization in the 1980’s, Roger met a young Dr. Deepak Chopra and together they opened The Lancaster Ayurvedic Center and eventually went on to open the Chopra Center in San Diego, California. Roger shares rare stories with his dry British humor and never waivers from his spiritual basis of meditation. Being raised in the 60’s Roger explains they all had their Indian bedspreads, incense and bells and so the foundation was there but still hidden. Roger goes on to explain that things changed for him and he woke up spiritually up from his very first meditation. He knew right then in that first meditation that was going to be the rest of his life.
