Nancy Watson’s entrepreneurial spirit has led her on different paths, always toward nurturing other people. Her 8-year long career as a teacher in disadvantaged neighborhoods in Chicago in the 1970s was interrupted by a 2-year stint as the contented owner of an antiques store. Cooking became Nancy’s outlet for dealing with the demands of teaching, leading eventually to a large-scale catering business that she owned for 25 years. At age 60, feeling like she was aging out of that industry, Nancy opened a B&amp;B in Southwest Michigan where she enjoyed connecting more closely with her clients. Now Nancy can be found on  Florida’s gulf coast where she lives happily with her third husband, David, engaging in cultural and social events, being physically active, and still offering her gift of food. 183 Nancy Watson:  Many Pathways to Nurturing Others

In this week's episode, I sit down with Dr. Martin Rosen and Dr. Nancy Watson to chat about holistic health and the numerous benefits of pediatric chiropractic care.  A blurb from Dr. Marty + Nancy: The challenge for the next generation of parents is becoming evident during this unique time. Children, in many ways, are more challenged than ever. Their ability to adapt and thrive is being tested. We must step up, not shy away from the challenge. Recently the CDC has lowered the bar for developmental milestones in children. They have decided to incorporate what is now becoming “common” to “normal”. Lowering the bar on childhood development does not favor anyone, on the contrary it is detrimental to current and future generations. It is time that we looked at the causes of these declining values and efficient, effective, and permanent ways to deal with them. Acceptance of these facts as normal is an unacceptable paradigm. Drs. Rosen and Watson are 1981 summa cum laude graduates of Life Chiropractic College. Over the past 4 decades they have taught pediatrics, craniopathy, primary healthcare management, practice management and chiropractic philosophy nationally and internationally to thousands of chiropractors, chiropractic students, healthcare providers and on public forums. While lecturing and teaching to chiropractors and the public they have compiled thousands of hours of presentations on chiropractic technique, safety, efficacy, research and evidence-based protocols. Their unique approach to chiropractic and the care of the pediatric population is evidenced in their published books, seminars and professional articles. They are the founders of “Peak Potential Institute”, offering one of a kind online and hands-on courses for the chiropractic profession. Teaching their first seminar in 1979 the doctors have dedicated their lives to both excellence in patient care and an unrelenting commitment to improve the technical excellence in the chiropractic profession.
