Coach Lucy Delsarto preaches the gospel of whole-person wellness—body, mind, and spirit—in the most unlikely of venues, the North American headquarters of TVH Parts in Olathe, KS. Coach Lucy, as she is known, is the company’s Wellness Coach, and she is a dynamo! TVH is a Belgian-owned company that provides parts for steamrollers, forklifts, and other industrial machines. And they have a kick-ass wellness program including an in-house chef, wellness space, meditation space, chiropractor, massage therapy, Reiki, incentive program, and meditation and wellness classes thanks to its visionary CEO of the Americas Els Thermote and Coach Lucy. Having coached racquetball since 1981, stepping into wellness coaching was a natural next step. In addition to corporate wellness, she owns TCOY (Take Care of Yourself) Wellness. As a wellness coach, Coach Lucy inspires, guides, and leads by example toward whole-person wellness. So what is corporate wellness, even? We talk about what goes into a wellness program, how to encourage EVERYONE toward better health and wellness, and the importance of gratitude (as well as socks!).
