Starting at the early age of 12 Singer , Guitarist , Songwriter Moved to Nashville TN in 1996 , releasing his first single in 2000 " WHY WOULD I DO THAT" Charting at 49 On New music Weekly . Signed with an independent Label in 2004 releasing his 2nd Single recorded with Lyle Lovetts Band" SHE HIT THE ROAD " Charting at 51 New Music Weekly , After a the Devastating loss of his Dear Mother in 2008 ,Not knowing if he would ever bounce back ,During this hard time he was asked by some friends that know Doug as a Craftsman / Cabinet maker ,to help out on the rebuilding of a Church that fell victim to a devastating flood and began work behind the scenes with "EXTREME HOME MAKEOVER" Nashville, a few years later Doug started writing again and soon Doug joined forces with the drummer Troy Luccketta from the rock band TESLA who has produced Dougs come back recordings includes the new single "MOST OF IT LEFT" on the new CD titled " UNCOMPROMISED" 2016
